A Global Pharmaceutical Company
Mandatory Compliance Training on Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) O/E implemented a large-scale, blended learning project for mandatory compliance training on Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) for one of the “Big Pharma” companies. The project included several phases: Front-End Analysis, Design, Storyboard Development, and Production (programmed using PowerPoint Integrator and Lectora Publisher). Within 3.5 months, O/E and the customer Project Team produced 10 Web-based training modules, two job aids, and presentation materials for six instructor-led workshops. O/E ensured on-site presence at critical points throughout the project. We scheduled regular status meetings to review progress and keep the customer Project Team and O/E’s Account Management Team in constant contact with one another. In order to fulfill the schedule requirements of this project, O/E managed concurrent development, production, and testing phases for multiple deliverables with a team of 10 resources, which included a project manager, lead instructional designer, instructional designers/developers, programmers, an editor, quality reviewers, and a creative specialist. O/E employed a partnership-driven project management process to ensure open communication, establish design and development standards, manage expectations, and deliver high quality products and services. As of March 2007, the customer has had 1980 employees complete the training. The customer also affirms that the courses are accessed for reference information and that learners say they are informative and educational. e-Learning Conversions Our client was moving to a new authoring tool and publishing standard for its courseware. They identified 70+ courses to convert over a 5-month period. The first phase of the project included the development of a written Standards and Requirements document, a Quality Assurance Process and Checklist, a standard Graphical User Interface, and conversion templates. The next phase included programming and quality review of the converted courses. The final phase was archival and packaging of the courses. |
