New Web-Based Training Product Targets Casinos.

TROY, MI, January 26, 2006— O/E Learning Inc., a provider of human performance improvement and compliance training solutions, today announced the availability of Responsible Gaming—An Awareness Course for Casino Employees. The primary goal of this online course is to increase awareness and knowledge of responsible gaming practices, education programs, prevention techniques, and treatment programs. The course is targeted specifically to casino employees to assist them in recognizing gambling disorders and to help educate them on the types of prevention techniques and treatment programs available to casino patrons.

The online course begins with an introduction and pre-assessment and then covers specific modules on history and awareness, responsible gaming best practices, and employee involvement. The course concludes with a summary and post-assessment. A unique feature of the course is the ability to include a customized module containing specific content for each casino property. The course can be deployed on a CD-ROM, a Learning Management System, or in a hosted Application Service Provider model.

“Our current work with casinos involves primarily monetary compliance training like Title 31 and Regulation 6A,” says Vice President Brian Makowski of O/E Learning. “Most casinos have some type of informal responsible gaming training program in place and our online course is designed to assist them by providing a formal, consistent, and widely available delivery format to cover their large workforce and variable shifts.”
