O/E Learning to Present Pharmaceutical Case Study for Mandatory Compliance Training
Troy, MI, March 8, 2007— Training Magazine’s 2006 Industry Report finds that, “35 percent of mandatory or compliance training is conducted ‘mostly or completely’ online.” In addition, Training Magazine found that, “Because of the critical nature of compliance programs, many firms are turning to online delivery to make these programs easier to deploy, measure, and report.”
O/E Learning Vice President Brian Makowski and Instructional Designer Kelly Condron will present a pharmaceutical case study for mandatory compliance training on Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q).
The case study will be presented during the Sharing@LearnShare Conference in Toledo, OH which is being held April 23–25, 2007 at One Seagate Center. In this case study, O/E Learning’s pharmaceutical customer required the expedient implementation of a customized C&Q training curriculum to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
The project included several phases: Front-End Analysis, Design, Storyboard Development, and Production (including programming in Lectora). Within three and a half months, O/E Learning and the C&Q Project Team produced ten web-based training modules, two job aids, and presentation materials for six instructor-led workshops.
Brian and Kelly will cover the circumstances that created the need and the timeline for the training curriculum. They will also describe the target audience, discuss the breadth of subject matter, and explain how the training curriculum was designed.
This presentation examines the road blocks and challenges that surfaced during the life cycle of the project and what was done to resolve them. The presentation concludes with lessons learned and the measures of success.
