Getting Started

O/E will hold an initial data gathering and research session in order to recommend the type of analysis services that would best match your specific situation.

Analysis services include:

  • Front-End Analysis
  • Needs & Gap Analysis
  • Curriculum Architecture
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Analysis
  • Learning Maps
  • User Acceptance Testing

Timely and well-planned analyses can help mitigate some of the most common business challenges:

  • Educating employees and providing them with the tools they need prior to a change.
  • Uncovering what is causing job performance problems and why.
  • Identifying the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for a given job and set of job tasks.

When conducting analysis services, O/E determines what the problem or need is and the gaps in performance. Then, we help you select a solution that will most effectively close the gap. Sometimes, an instructional solution is not the best option, or it must be combined with other types of interventions in order to resolve the problem, need, or gap.

The following types of questions may be asked during an analysis to uncover information about the problem, need, or gap.

  • What is the current state?
  • What is the desired future state?
  • What do you want to change and why?
  • What do you think it will take to achieve your desired future state?

Evaluations

Evaluations determine the value and effectiveness of a particular solution. An evaluation plan begins to formulate during analysis and continues to build throughout design and development. O/E can integrate evaluation services into the overall scope of your project or program. You can also choose to have O/E initiate and execute the plan during implementation and monitor the results after the program is launched.

The assessment and validation tools included in an evaluation plan may include the following:

  • Pretests & Post Tests
  • Instructional Design Assessments of Course Content
  • Observation Check Sheets
  • Return on Investment Analysis
  • Business Impact
  • Benchmarking & Mapping
  • Learner Satisfaction Surveys

Client Testimonial

“We have had the 11 Web-based training courses taken collectively almost 2000 times. This is occurring for a couple of reasons: based on your front-end analysis, we have developed curricula in partnership with you that requires individuals who perform certain jobs to take specific courses. In addition, those courses are informative and educational.”
